Lobby or reception in Quinta Real Puebla
In a historic building a few blocks from the cathedral with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, the hotel was a great oasis, including huge gorgeous ceramic bowls and urns and vases throughout. The room was huge with a wonderfully comfortable bed. The sheets and towels were soft and luxurious. The a/c worked well. The lobby was beautifully decorated and the staff spoke perfect English and were gracious and most helpful. Several shady courtyards and sitting areas big and small were around the property and the main one hosted the restaurant which we did not use. This hotel was our splurge on our 3 week trip and was well worth paying a few extra dollars.

I love the location of Quinta Real. It's very central and all the important places to see in Puebla are accessible, especially the Cathedral and the Biblioteca Palafoxiana. I love the architecture and ambience of the hotel. The interior is very classy and tasteful. It's like we were transported to an old world. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. They were able to book for us a great private tour to Cholula and Atlixco. The breakfast was delish in the beautiful dining area.

Our room with a rooftop terrace was perfect for two people and comfortably suited our weeklong stay. The location couldn’t have been better — right in the heart of Puebla’s historic center, making it easy to explore the city’s rich culture, food, and charm. We loved everything about our experience and would happily return.

(Kudos to your front desk staff) This was a nuns convent converted into a great hospitality establishment-one can feel the tranquility and the history of this space! A hidden gem right in the middle of everything, near many turistic attractions, yet, hidden enough to enjoy a peaceful time! Try to get up early for breakfast and enjoy the live piano music inside the courtyard!
